Ben Raccoon

Ben is a fun cute bouncy raccoon. He can be very hard headed at times, but for the most part he is calm and always tries to look at the alternate side of things.

Clothing:
Ben usually wears baggy pants or jeans, band shirts, muscle shirts(wifebeaters) or no shirt at all! He loves fishnets as well.

Physical:
Ben stands at 6'4" and has a medium build. He is a dark chocolate brown, with black medium length hair. His raccoon mask is black with a cream outline, and his ears are cream. Green eyes.

He has black rings on his tail, which is tipped with cream. Black elbow length "gloves" and knee high "boots"... Cream toes and fingers.

He has his tongue pierced, his nipples pierced, and a 00G PA in his nether regions.

Ben is a Virgo, his birthday is September 9th, 1988. He can be very shy at times but sometimes is the "life of the party" and very outgoing. He can be an introvert at times, when the mood hits.

Ben does not have a mate at the time being. He is open minded as far as sexuality goes, and really doesnt belive love (or sex) has a gender.

His interests include writing, sometimes painting, and clubbing. He is the "shoulder to lean on" in his group of friends, and he will always come out at the sign of trouble.

He is best friends to Kappy and he treats her like a sister.

The subject in this contest is Kappy Rayne the Skunk.

You can choose to draw/sculpt her alone or with her mate Kankraka Fox. (See Below for descriptions)

Submissions:
Submissions can be visual: A drawing, a sculpture.. a fursuit item. Anything visual that interprets Kappy (with or without Kankraka)
Submissions can also be in the form of a story, a poem, a song... etc etc. Basically anything that gets the theme/characters across.
You can submit more than once, but only one submission will be the winner.

For a short desc. of each of them, instead of having to read through the refrence page...
They are mated, and enjoy doing a variety of things together. That includes gaming, drawing, and cuddling.

Clothing: Very basic clothes... Almost always wears black pants... overly baggy jeans, skirts... Wears colored tank tops, halter tops, sweaters, and band t-shirts/hoodies. Usually no shoes, but if so they're open toed.
Interests: Kappy loves drawing, gaming (The SNES, N64, XBOX... she LOVES Zombies ate my neighbors for SNES and Half life 2), karate, music (see favorite bands on refrence page) colored hair, dancing, coffee, tea, sushi and her laptop.

Weight: 245 (He carries it mostly in his stomach and his thighs)
Clothing: Mostly carpenters jeans, and normal t-shirts. Sometimes sweaters. No shoes.
Interests: Kraka is a geeeek! He loves computers, and almost anything electronic. Enjoys gaming and cuddling with his skunk.

Below I will list a range of songs.. with a range of themes. I would like to challenge you to interpret Kappy (with or without Kraka) through the music tempo/lyrics/style.. whatever comes to mind when you hear the song. You may chose any song out of the list.

No, you do not HAVE to use a song as the theme... I just thought it would make a nice change to alot of the other contests out there.

Oh yeah.. the prizes!
Entries will be judged by originality, interpretation of the song (if chosen) and effort.

First Place: A set of tail and ears or a one character, full colored, full background drawn by me.
Second Place: One tail, or a one character, full colored, no background drawn by me.

So I've finally decided on my commission prices. If you believe these are too high/too low please tell me!

Commission Prices

Sketch: Simple Pencil or Digital sketch. $5
Examples: Digital
Traditional

Pencil: This is diffrent than a sketch.. this is either a cleaned up sketch, or a pencil shaded sketch. $10
No examples as of yet.

Ink: A basic ink outline/fill line drawing. $10
Examples: Traditional Media

Color: Colored in either Pencil Crayons, Prisma Color Markers, or Watercolors (with Acrylic Highlights) $15
Examples: Traditional Media
Traditional Media

Backgrounds: A simple background (one or two colors) add $2 to the base price.
Complex Background (Scenery... Complex Colors...) add $6 to the base price.
Examples: Complex Background

Characters: The first character is included in the baseprice (obviously :P) but the second character is $2 on the base price. Each additional character after 2 is $5.

USING MY CHARACTERS IN COMMISSIONS: You are welcome to commission a picture with my characters in them... but Kappy is strictly G rated images, nothing more. (She's mated, obviously)
No additional charge above the $2 and $5 dollar charge mentioned above.

Finished Glowstickk Commission -- Finally! Its done! So many hours went into this but the end result is kinda meh. I'm sorry if this isnt what you wanted, Glowstickk! Btw: the colors are ALOT brighter in person. my scanner hates reds. HATES.

Long time no update!

My internet has been gone for about 5-6 days.. havent really gotten a chance to update.
Reminding people, I'm still up for commission. And yes, if you have a commission I'm doing for you, I'm working on it. I work on each about 20-30 minutes a day. It may not be much, but when you've got a few to do... ^^;

Here's a commissioned image, which is one in a five part series.

So far, it's just inked. This is Fuego, a Black Jaguar. The spots aren't drawn yet, but thats because I'm going to have them penciled in a lighter color.

I'm not that happy at how it came out.. my coloring sucks, not to mention i need a larger variety of colors. Both skunks were colored with one 80% warmgrey Prismacolor.

Meh, not bad for a first try i guess.
